Consumer transaction statements are dipped or brushed with paraffin wax (a by-product of the petroleum purification process) and repetitively attached to a wire grid overpowering the internal exhibition space. The work performs as an accumulated residue of mine and other’s lived experiences and questions the subjective relationship we have to the materiality of desire and excess itself.

The images show the elemental effect of sun and heat on the paraffin wax over the month of installation.
